1. Introduction

BallerAI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how BallerAI collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”), as well as your rights regarding your data. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information:

When you onboard and use the App, we may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including:

• Basic details such as your name, age, gender, height, and weight
• Football-specific data including your playing level, position, training schedule, and injury history
• Lifestyle and health data (e.g., sleep habits, nutritional intake, and training environment)
• Photographs of meals (if you opt for our meal analysis feature) for nutritional analysis

b. Usage Information:

We may collect data about your interaction with the App, including training logs, session feedback, and activity metrics, to enhance and personalize your training experience.

c. Device and Log Information:

We may automatically collect device-specific information (e.g., device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers) and log data (e.g., IP address, access times, and usage patterns) for security, analytics, and performance improvements.

d. Website Analytics:

On the BallerAI marketing website, we measure page views, broad traffic source categories, sections viewed, navigation choices, and handoffs to the App Store or Google Play. We use a random identifier that exists only in the open page, do not set analytics cookies or persistent browser storage, do not record typed content, and do not use session replay or advertising profiles. Raw URLs, search queries, and referring URLs are not sent to product analytics. Aggregate website events are processed by PostHog in the European Union. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable this website measurement.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes, including:

• Personalization: To create tailored training programs and adaptive load management based on your profile, training history, and performance data.
• Injury Prevention and Recovery: To provide guidelines, feedback, and personalized recommendations to minimize injury risks.
• Nutrition Analysis: To offer personalized nutritional guidance by analyzing meal photos and logged dietary information.
• Improvement of Services: To analyze usage trends, perform internal research, and improve the overall functionality and user experience of the App.
• Communication: To contact you with important updates, support messages, or relevant information about the App, subject to your communication preferences.
• Website and Acquisition Measurement: To understand aggregate search visibility, website engagement, and app-store handoffs, and to improve the usefulness of our public website.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only when needed to operate BallerAI, complete a request you make, protect the Service, or comply with law. The categories of recipients may include:

• Infrastructure and authentication providers, including Firebase and Google Cloud, which host account and App data
• Subscription providers, including Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat, which process purchases and subscription status
• Analytics providers, including PostHog EU, for the limited product and website measurement described in this policy
• AI and image-processing providers when you ask BallerAI to analyze a meal image or use an AI-powered feature
• Professional advisers, authorities, or a successor organization when disclosure is required by law, needed to protect legal rights, or part of a lawful business transaction

Service providers may use information only to perform services for BallerAI under their applicable contractual and legal obligations. We do not use health, fitness, nutrition, injury, or meal-image data for advertising.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These include authenticated access, access controls, encrypted network transport, and restricted administrative access. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected:

• Account and App data: We generally retain your account profile, training, readiness, recovery, nutrition, player-card, league, and other feature data while your account is active so that we can provide the Service.
• Uploaded images: Meal or other images are retained only while needed to provide the requested feature, maintain your associated history, or operate your active account, unless you delete them earlier where that option is available.
• Support and security records: We retain support correspondence and limited diagnostic, fraud-prevention, and security records only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, protect the Service, and meet legal obligations.
• Subscription, transaction, and legal records: After account deletion, we may retain the minimum pseudonymized or legally required evidence needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, or legal claims. This retained evidence is not used to recreate your account or continue personalized App services.
• Backups: Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups or caches until they are overwritten through our service providers’ normal backup cycles. They are not available for ordinary product use and are not restored except for legitimate disaster recovery.
• De-identified data: We may retain information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it can no longer reasonably identify you.

When the applicable purpose or retention obligation ends, we delete or de-identify the data.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your BallerAI account and associated personal data in either of these ways:

• In the App: Open BallerAI, go to Profile, open Settings, choose Delete Account, verify your identity, and confirm deletion.
• On the web: Follow the instructions on our BallerAI account deletion page. You can submit a request there without reinstalling or opening the App.

For web requests, we verify that you own the account before deletion. After verification, we aim to complete the deletion within 30 days. The deletion process removes your sign-in account and identifiable App data associated with it, including your profile, training and routine history, readiness and recovery data, nutrition records and uploaded images, player-card and league data, settings, and direct account identifiers, except for the limited records described in the Data Retention section above.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise a right, email ballerai.official@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

9. International Data Transfers

BallerAI and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

10. Children’s Privacy

BallerAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, contact us so that we can investigate and delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to BallerAI, our providers, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice in the App or obtain consent.
